Press Registration

EAU27 is open to bona fide representatives of print and electronic media.

The EAU is happy to offer discretionary free-of-charge registration to journalists who work at a news organisation that features original, editorial news coverage, that has editorial freedom from advertisers and/or sponsors, and in which advertisers and/or sponsors are clearly identified as such.

In order to be accredited for the Congress, media representatives are expected to actively report on the 42nd Annual EAU Congress.

Eligibility

To be eligible for free press registration, applicants must write exclusively for the news organisation and should not be sponsored by any commercial organisation. For the verification of their status the following materials should be provided:

  1. Letter verifying assignment to the 42nd Annual EAU Congress (EAU27) on the letterhead of the news organisation being represented.
  2. Two bylined medical/health/science articles/videos/reports by the applicant published within the last year, coverage from the previous year’s meeting (if applicable), and a copy of the publication.
  3. Media identification, such as an international, accredited press pass or an official media-outlet-issued credential, dated 2026-2027.

Important note

You are not eligible for a free press registration when

  • You are a representative of publishing houses and are active on the business side of news media
  • You represent a for-profit corporation
  • You are an editor, but do not report for your publication's news section
  • Your reporting activity is (partially) sponsored by external commercial organisations (like pharma or medtech companies)

If in doubt, please ask the EAU Press Office in advance.

How to register

To apply for a press accreditation for the EAU27 Congress you can register via the online registration system, as of 1 October 2026.

To complete the online registration and to speed up the accreditation process, all applications should be accompanied by the required documents as listed under eligibility for verification. You can email the documents to the registration department.

Note: It is strongly recommended to apply for your press registration at least 2 weeks in advance. This enables us to deal with any queries or problems in time. If you apply later than 2 weeks in advance of the Congress, we cannot guarantee to have your application processed in time.

Entitlements

Besides the regular entitlements of delegates, journalists are entitled to the following extra benefits:
