Consider taking the train to Amsterdam as a comfortable and more sustainable alternative to flying.

Amsterdam is well connected to many major European cities by high-speed rail. International train services such as the Eurostar and ICE offer direct connections to Amsterdam Centraal from cities including Paris, Brussels, London, Berlin and Cologne, with journey times of around 2–6 hours depending on the departure city. From Amsterdam Centraal, it is easy to continue your journey across the city by metro, tram or train.

For travellers coming from other parts of Europe, high-speed rail connections to Brussels, Paris or Berlin make it simple to connect onwards to Amsterdam.

Travelling by train not only reduces your carbon footprint compared to flying, but also allows you to arrive directly in the city centre and enjoy a comfortable journey along the way.

The stop closest to Entrance K of the RAI Amsterdam is Europaplein, served by Metro line 52 (Noord/Zuidlijn) as well as several tram and bus connections. From Europaplein, Entrance K can be reached within a short walk.

Amsterdam RAI station, served by NS trains, metro, tram and bus connections, is also located nearby and provides convenient access for travellers arriving from other parts of the Netherlands or Europe.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the closest international airport to the RAI Amsterdam and is located approximately 15–20 minutes away by public transport or taxi.

Taxi
Taxis are readily available outside the arrivals halls. The journey to RAI Amsterdam is quick and straightforward, depending on traffic conditions.

Train & Metro
Schiphol Airport has its own railway station located directly beneath the terminal. Frequent NS trains operate from Schiphol to Amsterdam Zuid station in around 7 minutes. From Amsterdam Zuid, take Metro line 52 (Noord/Zuidlijn) one stop to Europaplein, the closest stop to Entrance K of RAI Amsterdam.

Alternatively, some trains also stop directly at Amsterdam RAI station, which is located within walking distance of the venue.

Bus
Several regional and local bus routes operate from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam and the surrounding area, with connections close to RAI Amsterdam.

Taxis are widely available throughout Amsterdam, and major train and metro stations have designated taxi ranks. At RAI Amsterdam, visitors can be dropped off directly at Entrance K by taxi or ride-hailing services such as Uber.

For pick-ups on the RAI premises, only TCA taxis are permitted for logistical and service quality reasons. During EAU27, a dedicated TCA taxi stand will be available on-site. Visitors wishing to use another taxi provider can be picked up outside the RAI premises.

Parking is available in several covered on-site car parks (P1–P4) at RAI Amsterdam. The venue is easily accessible directly from the A10 ring road by following signs for P-RAI 1–6.
